Milan and Croatia midfielder Luka Modric has again spoken of his desire to return to Real Madrid once his playing career is over.
“I want to return to Real Madrid and be useful,” said the 41-year-old, who intends to rejoin the Spanish club in a different role after retiring as a player.
Modric spent 13 years with Real Madrid, representing the club from 2012 to 2025. He then moved to Milan, where his current contract runs until next summer.
The Croatia international has not yet decided whether he will retire in 2027.
