Atlético Madrid assistant coach Luis Tevenet has singled out Ademola Lookman as the club’s most impactful signing in recent years, following the winger’s impressive start to life in Spain, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Lookman, who joined the La Liga side from Atalanta BC during the winter transfer window, has quickly established himself as a key figure in Diego Simeone’s squad. The Nigeria international has contributed seven goals and four assists in 18 appearances across all competitions, underlining his influence in the team’s attacking setup.
Tevenet highlighted the forward’s pace and versatility as major assets, noting that his arrival has added a new dimension to Atlético’s style of play.
