Former Bayern Munich player Lothar Matthaus has given his view on who should win the 2026 Ballon d’Or, saying only two names come to mind.
The prestigious award will be presented at a ceremony in London on 26 October. Last year’s Ballon d’Or was won by Paris Saint-Germain winger Ousmane Dembele.
