Ademola Lookman has praised his team's unity and teamwork after being named Man of the Match in Nigeria's 3-2 win over Tunisia at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

"It was a good victory, and we are proud of ourselves," Lookman said in his post-match interview.

"It could have ended 3-1 for us, but the penalty helped them. We are all happy, and we always want to help each other on the pitch."

Lookman, who scored one goal and provided two assists, highlighted the strong chemistry between him and Victor Osimhen.

"We had to play together, stay calm and avoid any mistake in the final minutes," he said.

With two goals in the tournament, Lookman is looking to continue his good form against Uganda on Tuesday.

"I just try to aim for goal, find the right space, and put the ball where it can bring a goal," he explained. "I love to score, but I also like helping my teammates to score."

Nigeria have qualified for the last 16 with two wins from two games, joining Egypt as early qualifiers.
