Nigeria international Ademola Lookman has expressed happiness at being nominated for the CAF Men's Player of the Year award.
Lookman is among the five final nominees for the individual accolade, and is widely considered the hot favourite to win the award, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
"It's an honour to be nominated for this prestigious award," Lookman told Sky Sport Italia.
"Of course, anyone who is nominated would like to win it. It's a dream."
Lookman's compatriot, Victor Osimhen, won the award last year, and Lookman hopes to follow in his footsteps.
The award ceremony will occur in Marrakech, Morocco on Monday, December 16.
