Napoli secured a narrow win over Bologna in the fourth round of Serie A, with midfielder Stanislav Lobotka describing the result as a “very important victory”.
The Slovakia international made no secret of his delight after Napoli claimed their second league win of the season.
The match marked another positive result for a Napoli side coached by Massimiliano Allegri, who took charge of the club this season. The experienced manager has replaced Antonio Conte, under whom Napoli finished second in Serie A last season.
The victory over Bologna gives Napoli further momentum early in the campaign, while Lobotka’s reaction underlined the importance the midfielder placed on the result.
