The Reds parted with £25m to secure the transfer, and the player arrives after joining the Magpies for £14.5m from Dutch outfit PSV Eindhoven last summer. He played all 38 of the club's Premier League games in 2015/16, scoring 11 goals in the process.
He scored on his debut last August, also recording a double brace in a 6-2 win against Norwich. His good form, however, could not prevent Newcastle from sliding out of the top flight, but it has earned him a move to a Liverpool side looking to take England by storm next season.

He also commented on the fact that he would be working with Klopp: "He seems a great man - from the outside - because I don't know how he works yet and I have to work with him.
