Lille Striker Osimhen Rushed To The Hospital After Scoring Against Monaco

Nigeria international Victor Osimhen was rushed to the hospital few minutes after opening the scoring for Lille in their 3-0 win against Monaco in the Coupe de la Ligue on Tuesday night.

According to various reports in the French media, including sports.fr, the Super Eagles striker seemed to feel dizzy and complained of chest pain.

He was quickly attended to by the emergency services present at the Stade Louis II, and taken by ambulance to a hospital center to undergo medical examinations.

Osimhen gave Lille the lead with a beautifully drilled finish into the far corner, assisted by Jonathan Ikoné.

His goal against the Principality outfit took his goal total for the season up to 12 from 23 matches, with nine of the strikes coming in the French Ligue 1.

Loic Remy got on the scoresheet in the 45th and 86th minutes to help Lille seal their passage to the quarterfinal of the League Cup.
