Extremely disappointed with his Bayern Munich debut season, throughout which he only collected four official caps, former German U21 international goalkeeper Alexander Nübel, turning 25 on September 30, is getting more and more likely to leave Bundesliga giants, on a loan spell at least. To this end, former Schalke 04 stopper is supposedly meant to join Ligue 1 title-holding candidate side Lille.

Currently on a deal with Die Roten until June 2025, the 1996-born has recently been inquired about by more clubs around, including Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Stuttgart, Union Berlin, AS Monaco, and Olympique de Marseille. Nübel, however, seems on his way to go replacing Mike Maignan, before Les Dogues goal and poles, while the latter might leave on his hand as well, and take over AC Milan possibly vacant position, with Gianluigi Donnarumma rather likely to bid farewell.

Signed by Bayern Munich on a free move, Nübel, according to Transfermarkt.de, is allegedly worth 6.5 million euros.
