Paris Saint-Germain are increasingly unlikely to make an offer for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba in this transfer window.

For PSG to have any chance of signing Lionel Messi and Pogba, they would need to sell or loan around 10 players.

PSG will continue to keep an eye on Pogba’s situation – especially if he doesn’t sign a new contract before the year is out. Pogba, who has entered the final 12 months of his contract at Old Trafford, can sign a pre-contract with a foreign club in January.

Pogba is relaxed about his situation and is looking forward to the new season. He continues to have a great relationship with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who, along with his coaches, are equally positive about Pogba’s good attitude.

Talks are continuing with Pogba’s representatives, but United are aware he may not sign a new deal in this window, with the 28-year-old not wanting to rush a decision about his future.
