Back into French football realms after five seasons away, Gabonese international central midfielder Mario Lemina is about to join OGC Nice. Former Juventus and Olympique de Marseille playmaker, parting ways with Southampton for good, with a bare one year-long deal left, is about to undergo medical tests for Ligue 1 side.
Previously hailing also from Lorient, Galatasaray and Fulham ranks, Lemina, turning 28 on September 1st, is equipped with a dual French citizenship. Mostly a deep-lying midfielder, though having occasionally been deployed as a full-back, a wingback, and even as a winger, he has so far capped 205 times throughout his overall club career, scoring nine goals therein.
