As reported by French local source Nice-Matin, French centre-back Andy Pelmard (21 years old, 24 matches in all competitions for the 2020/21 season) is leaving OGC Nice on a loan spell, including an option to buy. The 2000-born backliner is about to join FC Basel, possibly even for good.
Viable as a left-back as well, the 2000-born had been capping for both French U17 and 18, between 2017 and 2018, before making his Under-21 debut, a year later. Besides, Pelmard, part of Les Aiglons systems since 2013, has so far been playing 39 official matches for OGC Nice, and is roughly worth 4 million euros, at the time.
