Kylan Mbappe has rejected two Paris Saint-Germain contract offers. The 22-year-old attacker appeared to be making the switch to Real Madrid this summer, but the Spanish superpower decided at the last minute to wait until next January. At that time, Mbappe is free to sign.

Mbappe's contract in Paris expires next year. He can therefore be signed for a pre-contract in January. Paris Saint-Germain hopes to prevent that by offering him a new contract. That happened this week. The first proposal was a five-year deal with an option for an extra year, which included an annual salary of 25 million euros, L'Equipe reports.

The second proposal would make him the highest paid player in the club. A two-year contract should earn him between 42 and 50 million euros annually. Mbappe refused the offers, which means that PSG must fear a transfer-free departure of the star attacker. He seems to have his sights set on a move to Real Madrid. PSG still have four months to change his mind.
