L’Équipe report via Get French Football News today that Rennes are set to have a busy final week of the transfer window, with notably Eduardo Camavinga’s future to be decided. The young midfielder appears to be on the way out and sees himself at an another club by August 31, but a concrete offer is yet to come in.

The club have set a €30m asking price on Camavinga, who has one year left on his contract. Paris Saint-Germain are keeping contact with the player’s entourage but are yet to submit a formal offer, while Camavinga’s representatives are also looking overseas to the Premier League, notably Manchester United and Chelsea.

Midfielder Benjamin Bourigeaud could also be the subject of interest from Lyon, should Houssem Aouar leave, with an enquiry already being made. The 27-year-old has two years left on his contract, and would not be against a move. Nevertheless, Lyon’s priority for the rest of the window is Iranian striker Sardar Azmoun, and as a result will not have a sizeable budget to dedicate to signing Bourigeaud.

Meanwhile, Croatian midfielder Lovro Majer’s arrival appears to be done, with the transfer fee in the region of €12m and €15m including bonuses. Manager Bruno Génésio has approved the signing, although he had also looked at Brest’s Romain Faivre as an option. Discussions are ongoing with La Liga side Deportivo Alavés for the sale of James Léa-Siliki, although a contractual agreement has also been found with Valencia. Right-back Brandon Soppy also looks to be leaving, with Udinese in discussions while Reims have submitted a bid.
