Ligue 1 celebrates Moses Simon 150 games milestone

French topflight league, Ligue 1 is celebrating FC Nantes forward Moses Simon after hitting an incredible 150-game milestone with his club, Nigeriasoccernet.com writes.

In 150 games that the Super Eagles international has featured, he has had a total of 56 goals involvement, scoring 27 goals and assisting 29 with the last of his attacking prowess display coming against Angers SCO where they played out a thrilling 1-1 draw in round 5 of Ligue 1 McDonald's.

Ligue 1 shared this on their X handle with a caption that reads "Indispensable Moses Simon" accompanied by a Nigeria flag in tribute for his contributions to the club and the league.

Simon ranks fifth among Nigerian players for the most appearances in Ligue 1, following John Utaka (239 games), Wilson Oruma (196), Taye Taiwo (191), and Victor Ikpeba (170).
