Foot Mercato report today that Guingamp forward Matthias Phaëton’s performances with Guadeloupe at this year’s Gold Cup have led to interest from the likes of Angers and Nottingham Forest.
Talks have been initiated for the 21-year-old, who is under contract with the Ligue 2 side until 2023 but appears set for a move, either to Ligue 1 or English football.
Phaëton recently scored the winning goal in his side’s 2-1 win over Auxerre, and has been at the Brittany club for the last three campaigns.
