Nigeria's Terem Moffi propelled his side, OGC Nice to victory against RC Lens in the French Ligue 1 match day 26 encounter on Saturday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Super Eagles scored twice, including one from the spot, as OGC Nice earned a much-needed win (1-3) away from home at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis.

Moffi opened score on 11 minute, a goal which gave Nice the lead at the end of the first half.

Khéphren Thuram doubled the visitors lead after 7 minutes of the second half before Moffi scored his second and his 8th of the season to put the icing on the cake on 67 minutes.

Elye Wahi pulled one back 9 minutes later, but it only proved a consolation as the scores ended 1-3.

The result puts Nice in 4th while Lens drops to 6th on the standings.
