During a public event in Spain, LaLiga president Javier Tebas spoke in decidedly optimistic terms about Real Madrid's financial situation and what the next transfer market could be. These are his words to AS:
"They sold players for €200m, they have enough cash in hand to buy both Mbappé and Haaland. He has not lost money and above all he has actively sold. What is not understandable is that someone is with a loss of 400 million, has a salary of 500 million and can refuse offers like the one for Mbappé (the reference to PSG is clear, ed).
They are breaking French control rules and creating damage to the European market. The UEFA system it's wrong. We are going in the opposite direction to where we should go. We have to find investors, but not with unlimited deposits and constant losses. They prefer to win the Champions League by losing a billion euros, so you make your fans happy but you offend football", he said.
