In a recent interview, Koeman discussed his relationship with Laporta, revealing that he felt humiliated after the new president cast doubt on his position shortly after his reelection, at a time when Barcelona had recently won the Copa del Rey.
The Dutchman also stated that the media leaks about his contract and ambitions that have appeared in the previous month have not impressed him. He did confess, though, that he had worked things out with Laporta and that he had turned a new leaf.
In an interview with TV3, Laporta, for one, expressed his public support for his manager earlier this week, saying that Koeman had his "complete support, trust, and respect."
Despite signs that the two are getting along, SPORT's Lluis Mascaro claims that things are still not right between Laporta and Koeman. For the time being, though, they appear to have reached a non-aggression pact, as they seek to put their differences aside for the benefit of the club.
