Real Madrid will look to sign Manchester United playmaker Paul Pogba on a free transfer if his deal expires next summer, according to a report.

The 28-year-old, who has less than 12 months on his current deal, is yet to agree on terms over a new contract to remain at Old Trafford and he is believed to be keen on a potential transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Marca claims that both Pogba and PSG attacker Kylian Mbappe are at the top of the Los Blancos priority list for next summer, and they are hoping to lure the Frenchman to La Liga on free transfers.

Los Blancos are also planning to secure the services of Borussia Dortmund’s forward Erling Braut Haaland, who will see a £68m release clause become active in his deal next year.

Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola is looking to tie the playmaker down to a new lucrative deal, as the Frenchman turns 29 in March and believes his next deal will be the last major contract of his career.
