Elche have announced that they have agreed terms with Girona to sign Johan Mujica on permanent basis for a fee of £1.08m. 28 Year old Colombian INT left back spent remainder of last season with La Liga club only where he made 17 app for them. Before Elche loan he had signed for Serie A club on loan with an option to buy but after struggling in Italy his deal was cut short in middle only. Girona had signed him when they were in La Liga in 2017 but had to sell him after their relegation in 2020. He has also played for Spanish club Rayo Vallecano & Valladolid in past now will continue to pursue his career in same League. Elche who finished 17th last season have looked busy this window & 2 days back they also extended contract of RB Antonio Barragan.
