Financial crisis in LaLiga giant Barcelona still continues. The president of the club, Joan Laporta is reported trying to force both Antoine Griezmann and Philippe Coutinho to take wage cuts.

The loss of Lionel Messi gave a big blow for Blaugrana which was on the verge of bankruptcy. The club were unable to secure La Pulga service after violating LaLiga cap rules.

Unfortunately, their misery is far from over after the mega debt around €1,2 billion. Then, all of their players need to agree to another wage cut for the sake of Barcelona.

Sports has already reported that Gerard Pique already agrees to have a huge pay cut. Interestingly, the veteran full-back is not the only one, a similar agreement already accepted by Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, and Sergi Roberto.

But that's not all of it, the report added Laporta also tried to convince other players. He considers both Griezmann and Coutinho need to do the same wage cuts.

Griezmann finally agreed to do so, despite the fact there are not any official talks with the club. The Frenchman doesn't have another choice after failing to show his potential under Ronald Koeman.

Meanwhile, Coutinho is also in the same boat after being absent for a long time. The options that are given by Barcelona are still clear, agree to have a pay cut or leave as soon as possible in the next transfer window.
