Deemed one of the main cornerstones for Barcelona FC new generation of players, Spanish international box-to-box midfielder Pedro Gonzalez Lopez, known as Pedri, is about to be signed by Blaugrana on a further long-term, beyond current June 2022 deadline. Recently inquired about by Liverpool, the 2002-born playmaker, turning 19 on November 25, is going to put ink on paper on a new 4-year deal, according to Sport.
A Las Palmas alumni, Pedri has already capped ten times for Spanish senior national team, after having represented his country on youth levels, all the way from Under-17 stage to Under-21 one, besides having been part of recent Tokyo Olympics expedition.
