Liberty Professionals captain Alfred Nelson believes the side is capable of finishing in the top four despite their early struggle in the Ghanaian top flight.
The Dansoman-based club are currently 10th in the First Capital Plus League but have struggled to score goals.
Liberty have managed to score only seven goals in the nine games played so far this season.
Coupled with financial challenges, many doubt the club’s credentials to escape the relegation fight they were so entangled in last season.
But captain Alfred Nelson believes the side has the potential to make at least a top four finish this term.
“I believe a top four finish target is realistic and achievable this season,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
“We lost a couple of players at the start of the season which has accounted for our difficult start [to the season].
“But we are beginning to pick up again and I believe we can make it to the top four this season.”
