Liberia U17 moved to within one win of qualifying for CAN U17 2027 after beating Guinea 2-1 in their second Group B match at the Tournoi UFOA-A U17 on Friday, 11 September 2026.
The result secured the Lone Stars’ place in the next stage of the UFOA Zone A qualifying process and strengthened their position in the group.
Liberia now need one more victory to earn qualification for CAN U17 2027.
Guinea must respond in their next match, with Group B now reduced to three teams following the disqualification of Guinea-Bissau. The change makes every result increasingly important for the sides still involved.
