Nigeria's defender, Leon Balogun returned to action with Queens Park Rangers team B as he gets set for senior team action in no distant time, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Super Eagles centre back played 45 minutes in QPR B team's 2-0 victory over Birmingham City in a Professional Development League fixture on Monday.
Balogun had been out for close to four months on the treatment table with a calf injury. His last game was against Huddersfield on November 8, 2022.
QPR head coach Gareth Ainsworth sent the player to the B team to improve his match fitness and was on ground to watch Balogun and two other senior team players in action.
Balogun had played in only 12 matches, missing out in 19 matches for QPR this season and two international games for Nigeria.
There is a possibility of the former Glasgow Rangers player to take a part in QPR's match against Preston on Saturday.
