Leeds have not reached an agreement with head coach Daniel Farke over a new contract, with his current deal due to expire at the end of the season, according to Leeds Live.
The club and 49ers Enterprises want to extend their relationship with the German, and Farke is also interested in remaining in charge. However, the terms of a new agreement have yet to be settled.
Farke has previously indicated that he is relaxed about the situation and has repeatedly avoided questions about his future. The 49-year-old has said there is no need to discuss the issue at this stage.
The lack of a new contract has also caused little concern among Leeds supporters. In a Leeds Live poll involving 1,250 people, 60% said they were not worried about Farke’s contractual position.
Farke has been in charge of Leeds since 2023. During his time at the club, he guided them from the Championship into the Premier League.
