Ghana Premier League top scorer Nathaniel Asamoah thinks he is capable of adding value to the senior national team after his resurgence.
Asamoah scored 12 goals after the first round of the league and voted player of the Month for March.
He is fast recapturing the scoring form which saw make a huge impact in 2011 for Asante Kotoko before leaving to Red Star Belgrade.
The former Wa All Stars player says he is top form now to join the Black Stars for the upcoming 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers this June.
“I am very sure that if the handlers of the Black Stars give me an opportunity, I can help. Life is about opportunities and someone has to believe in you to give you the opportunity,” Asamoah told Happy FM
“I have been called up to the national team in the past but I never got to play. But now I feel I am ready.”
