League Cup: Ndidi, Iheanacho feature in Leicester City's loss to Newcastle

It was another bad day in the office for Nigerian duo of Wifred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho and their Leicester City side as they lost by two goals to nil in the Carabao Cup quarter finals to Newcastle United on Tuesday.

Dan Burn and Joelinton's second half goals sunk City on the day to ensure their progression to the last four of the competition.

Ndidi was in action from the blast of the whistle till the end receiving a yellow card in the match while Iheanacho came in the 64th minute for Thomas.

Defender, Burn had beaten two players to put the ball in the right bottom corner after a pass by Joelinton in the 60th minute before Joelinton from a Miguel Almiron's pass made it two 12 minutes later.

The bad form continues for Brendan Rodgers' side, who have only beaten MK Dons and Gillingham since the break in their season in November.
