Latvian Cup: Abdulrahman Taiwo’s hattrick leads FK Auda to final

Nigeria's Abdulrahman Taiwo handed the final spot of the Latvian Cup to FK Auda after his goals proved decisive in the semi final on Wednesday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Taiwo scored a hattrick as Auda defeated FK Liepaja at Skonto stadion? to reach their second Latvian Cup final.

He got his first after 15 minutes of action following his close range effort before scoring the second four minutes to the end of the first half.

In the second half, the former Kwara United striker capitalized on a defensive mistake to complete his hattrick with 25 minutes left to the end of the encounter.

Meanwhile, his compatriots Abiodun Ogunniyi played for 68 minute while Olabanjo Ogunji was on for the entire match duration for Auda.

Auda will play RFS in the final of the Latvian Cup, a repeat of the 2022 final.
