Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal failed to score or provide an assist as Spain came from behind to beat Croatia.
The 19-year-old started for Spain but was substituted in the 78th minute without contributing to either of his side’s goals. It was the first time since 27 August that Yamal had completed a match without a goal or assist, with Athletic Bilbao having previously kept him quiet.
Yamal had produced a goal or an assist in each of his next nine appearances for club and country, scoring 12 goals and setting up seven more during that run.
Spain secured their comeback win over Croatia through a brace from Mikel Merino.
