Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze is most likely not to feature on Sunday when Villarreal host Celta Vigo due to a suspected injury, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The 23 year old although played the whole 90mins in of the Yellow Submarine’s 4-2 win over Espanyol in the midweek was suspected to have picked a minor injury.
Chukwueze who has been a regular starter in team will now undergo a late fitness test to ascertain his readiness for the game.
Villarreal sit fifth on the league table with 50 points, eight behind 4th place Real Sociedad who have played a game more.
The Nigeria international has scored six goals and recorded five assists in 30 league appearances for Villarreal this season.
