Spanish premiere Liga has celebrated Samuel Chukwueze’s first league goal of the season for Villarreal.
On Monday, Chukwueze netted the Villarreal’s first goal against Real Valladolid at the Estadio De La Ceremica, before his teammate Torres Pau second the second.
The goal was also the Super Eagles winger’s first in the year 2020 and also the his first since scoring in Villarreal’s 3 – 1 victory over Celta Vigo back in November 2019.
The Spanish La Liga were delighted to welcome him back to the scoresheet with a tweet :
“First goal of the season for @chukwueze_8 in #LaLigaSantander! ??”
Chukwueze has featured in 10 matches for the Yellow Submarine side this season, and has two assists to his name, before the scoring the goal.
His goal helped Villarreal climb to third in LaLiga with 15 points.
The Yellow Submarines have now gone undefeated in their last seven games in all competitions.
