Croatian midfield star Marcelo Brozovic was close to joining Barcelona during the recently concluded transfer window, according to Calciomercato. In return, the Nerazzurri outfit wanted to lure in now Tottenham player Emerson Royal.
Brozovic has now appeared to be close to signing a contract renewal deal with Inter after a transfer saga filled window.
The technical midfielder’s contract with Inter expires at the end of the current season, in June 2022.
