Barcelona president Joan Laporta has clarified in a statement to Spanish outlet Onze about Antoine Griezmann’s surprise loan dal back to Wanda Metropolitano with Atletico Madrid.
The president said: “Griezmann must play 50% of the matches he can take part in for the purchase option of Atletico to become mandatory.”
Thus, the Frenchman will need to play at least 15-20 matches this season in a bid to prompt Atletico to retain his services.
