Kylian Mbappe has been ordered by the Paris Court of Appeal to pay Paris Saint-Germain €60,000 following the long-running dispute between the player and his former club.
The case has involved claims over unpaid salary and bonuses. Mbappe had sought €60m from Paris Saint-Germain, while the club refused to make the payment, citing what it said was his commitment not to leave as a free agent.
In December 2025, a labour court ordered Paris Saint-Germain to pay Mbappe €61m. The Ligue 1 club complied with that ruling.
The latest decision requires Mbappe to compensate Paris Saint-Germain for the financial restrictions it faced during the legal proceedings. Between 10 April and 25 May 2025, the club’s funds were unavailable because they had been placed under a protective measure linked to the dispute.
Paris Saint-Germain was consequently required to secure a credit line to meet its financing needs.
However, the Paris Court of Appeal rejected the club’s request for compensation for moral damages, according to L’Equipe.
