Wife of Ghana FA president Christine Nyantakyi is unhappy with the verbal attacks on her husband, admitting such 'unhealthy and appalling' attacks have affected her home.
Kwesi Nyantakyi has come under line of fire some quarters of the media, who have constantly heaped abrasive words on his personality.
His critics have accused him of focusing on the Black Stars at the expense of the other national teams and the local league and claimed alleged financial malfeasance against his administration.
Christine Nyantakyi, a respected banker has revealed the negative press has affected her home.
“It is not pleasant at all, although I consider it an occupational hazard. There are times our kids, particularly the eldest, come home from school that she heard on radio in the car that somebody was insulting daddy.” she told Ghana's leading private newspaper Daily Guide.
Despite leading Ghana to three successive World Cups, the astute lawyer has not been spared the brunt of criticism with constant allegations of financial malfeasance, christened ‘Sika die basabasa’ against his administration.
