Black Stars striker Kwesi Appiah has returned to the Reading squad to face Birmingham City in the English Championship on Wednesday night.
The 24-year-old Crystal Palace loanee missed the weekend FA Cup defeat against Arsenal after being cup-tied.
However boss Steve Clarke is likely to freshen up his side following their Wembley exertions with Oliver Norwood, Simon Cox and club captain Jem Karacan pushing for starts with Appiah vying for a spot in the 18-man squad for the game.
Appiah joined Reading from English Premier League side Crystal Palace to get more first team experience but he has started just once since arriving in March.
