Kumbulla in and Under out as Roma await Milik decision

Published on: 17 September 2020

Roma aren’t standing idly by while waiting for Arkadiusz Milik to reach a decision on his future and have been moving forward with other transfer activity in the meantime.

Marash Kumbulla landed in the Italian capital on Wednesday in order to undergo his medical examination before completing his arrival from Hellas Verona.

TuttoMercatoWeb have reported that the Albanian will pen a five-year deal in Rome worth €2 million a season and Verona will receive €31m for his services.

But the Giallorossi aren’t just working on arrivals and Cengiz Under is looking increasingly likely to leave the Stadio Olimpico for Premier League side Leicester City.

The same publication explained that the Turk is set to join Timothy Castagne at Leicester for a total of €27m.

The English side will pay an initial €3m for a season-long loan, with the additional €24m to come when the obligation to buy him outright is exercised at the end of the 2020/21 campaign.
