Borussia Dortmund head coach Niko Kovac has spoken about the health problems affecting Bayern manager Vincent Kompany, saying: “He needs time.”
Kompany was urgently taken to hospital after losing consciousness during a training session. The Belgian coach had previously been suffering from a viral infection but continued to work hard.
Bayern are due to host Borussia Dortmund in a Bundesliga match on 31 October.
