Kotoko chief Samuel Opoku Nti has revealed the club will jump to sign veteran goalkeeper Richard Kingson.

Kingson has publicly declared his intention to end his career at the Ghanaian champions, declaring his profound affection for the two-time African champions.

The 36-year-old is a free agent after leaving Turkish side Bal?kesirspor and Kotoko acting Chief Executive Opoku Nti says he will jump to the chance to sign the former Ghana shot-stopper.

“I met him (Richard Kingson) after my trip from London in 2008 and when I was introduced to him, he kept telling me he would love to play for Kotoko,” he told Accra-based Top Radio

“Ever since his admiration for Kotoko has never weaned and I’m particularly impressed with his affection for the club.

“Of course, I will sign him immediately if he decides to join us. He has shown tremendous commitment in his quest to end his career at Kotoko and we like players with such positive attitude.

“I will jump quickly to sign him. No problem at all.”
