Kotoko bent on beating Hasaacas to record their first win- Ohene Brenya

Asante Kotoko defender Ohene Brenya has promised an improved show with victory against Hasaacas on Wednesday at the Baba Yara Stadium in order to redeem their image in the First Capital Plus League.

The midweek duel between Kotoko and Hasaacas promises to be explosive looking at the intention that each side is coming into the game with.

As Kotoko seek their first win, the Western Region giants who thrashed Liberty 3-1 on Sunday are also hoping to make it two wins in a roll to protect their lead on the league table.

Nothing will therefore be left to chance in Kumasi but Hasmal don’t need to be told that they will surely have a high mountain to climb because the Fabulous Boys have been impregnable at home for some time now. They never lost any league match at the Baba Yara Stadium during last season’s competition.

In their clash against Hasaacas in the sixth week league fixture of the 2013/14 premiership; Kotoko cruised to a 2-1 win. The players are determined to repeat the dose on their opponent this time round.

To Brenya the great support that they will receive from the fans will also help make the task against Hasmal easier.

“We will do what is expected of us on the field of play but the fans must come to the stadium to reinforce our quest to bring success” he noted.
