Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany says he would be pleased if the Ballon d’Or were awarded to Harry Kane or Michael Olise.

Kompany was speaking about the leading contenders for football’s most prestigious individual prize, but acknowledged that a player from Paris Saint-Germain could also claim the award after the club’s Champions League success.

Kane, 33, has played in five matches for Bayern Munich in all competitions this season. The England captain has scored three goals and provided one assist.
