Kolarov victim of more insults from Roma ultras

Published on: 12 February 2019

Roma’s ultras’ war with Aleksandar Kolarov has had another layer added to it this Tuesday evening at the Stadio Olimpico as the Giallorossi returned to Champions League action.

The former Lazio player’s relationship with his fans has been strained since joining the club in 2017 and the Curva Sud have again aimed their frustrations at the Serbian.

During the game against Porto, a banner was unveiled that had the message “b*****d Kolarov” written on it.

Kolarov’s return to the Eternal City hasn’t been easy and just last week graffiti aimed at him appeared around Rome.

During his spell at Lazio, Kolarov scored 11 goals and provided nine assists in 104 games, while in his 74 appearances for Roma he has 10 goals and 16 assists.
