Ghana forward Kevin-Prince Boateng has returned to fitness to join his Schalke teammates on their trip to Qatar to prepare for the start of the second half of the season.
The 27-year-old missed the latter parts of the first half of the Royal Blues’ campaign due to an injury.
The former AC Milan star was feared to remain on the sidelines over an extended period.
But Schalke received a timely boost with the Ghanaian being passed fit.
Boateng traveled alongside his club teammates to Qatar for their preparations for the resumption of the Bundesliga.
Roberto Di Matteo’s side are at home to Hannover when the Bundesliga resumes on January 31st.
