Kevin De Bruyne could be set to leave Napoli at the end of the season after negotiations over a new contract reportedly reached an impasse.
The Belgium midfielder’s current deal expires next summer, and there is currently no agreement in place to extend it. According to insider Nicolo Schira on social media, the situation points towards De Bruyne departing as a free agent when the season concludes.
De Bruyne joined Napoli in 2025, also on a free transfer, following a decade with Manchester City. The 35-year-old spent 10 years at the English club before moving to Italy.
He has made six appearances for Massimiliano Allegri’s side during the current campaign, scoring once and registering one assist.
