Nigeria’s Super Eagles goalkeeper, Kayode Bankole, has officially received his work permit in South Africa, clearing the final hurdle before making his debut for TS Galaxy, writes Nigeriasoccernet.com.

The 22-year-old shot-stopper joined the South African Premier Division club during the last summer transfer window after his contract with Remo Stars expired. Bankole played a key role in helping the Sky Blue Boys win their first-ever Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title, earning widespread praise for his composure, reflexes, and numerous clean sheets.

With his paperwork now complete, Bankole is set to make his official debut for TS Galaxy, where he will compete for the first-choice goalkeeper spot. The club’s management and fans are optimistic that his arrival will strengthen their defensive setup and bring stability between the sticks.

Bankole’s move marks a significant step in his career as he looks to continue his fine form abroad and maintain his place in the Super Eagles’ setup ahead of upcoming international fixtures.
