The Nigeria Premier Football League has given varying fans to four clubs who breached the league's rule and framework after their match day 17 matches, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The league body on Monday announced that it has sanctioned league leaders, Remo Stars, Sunshine Stars, Gombe United and Kano Pillars for various misconducts over the weekend.
Remo Stars were charged for falling to provide adequate security in their game as Sunshine Stars and we're fined 1 million naira.
Kano Pillars were charged for breaking the rules of the league in their league game against Plateau United and will play their next home games at the Sani Abacha Stadium without fans.
Gombe United will also play behind closed doors in their next matches after failing to also provide adequate security in their match against Rivers United.
Sunshine Stars of Akure also faced the wrath of the law after "failing to ensure proper conduct of their players in the course of their game at Remo Stars on Sunday."
The Akure Gunners goalkeeper Abdullateef Ishola was suspended for the next 3 matches for reacting violently to a ball boy.
All clubs have within 48 hours to appeal the sanctions.
