Kano Pillars have confirmed the appointment of experienced coach Usman Abdallah as their new Technical Adviser on a two-year contract, with an option for a third year, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Abdallah, who boasts an impressive resume, including a stint as assistant coach of the Nigeria National Team, Super Eagles, and a successful spell at Enyimba International FC, where he led the team to a Nigeria Premier Football League title, is expected to bring his wealth of expertise to the club.
"We are excited for the journey ahead and confident that Coach Abdallah will steer the team to new heights," said the club.
Abdallah, who holds a UEFA A License, has also made significant contributions at Wikki Tourists and Katsina United.
The tactician was yesterday formally introduced to the players by the club’s chairman.
His appointment is seen as a major coup for Kano Pillars, who will kick off the 2024/25 NPFL season at home against newly promoted Ikorodu City of Lagos.
