Juventus to Maintain Highest Budget in Serie A: Scanavino Speaks, Gatti Signs New Deal

Juventus will remain the Serie A club with the largest budget. That’s the assurance from Maurizio Scanavino, the club's CEO:
"Looking ahead, despite some reductions and ongoing fine-tuning, Juventus should continue to have the highest budget available for sporting investments. This ensures great competitiveness. Of course, success depends on making the right choices in the transfer market and having a bit of luck, but the foundation is there," Scanavino stated.
In his interview with Radio Serie A in collaboration with RDS, Scanavino also addressed the topic of the main shirt sponsor:
"We are in advanced negotiations with several potential partners, and we expect to secure a commercial shirt sponsor by the end of the season. In the meantime, we’ve opted for a charitable initiative, promoting an organisation we are deeply committed to. We’re very pleased with this partnership, as is Save the Children."
Additionally, Juventus has announced a new deal with TIM, which will feature as the sleeve sponsor for the Women’s team and the Men’s Under-20 side.
Prisma Investigation Preliminary Hearing
Today also marked the preliminary hearing in the Prisma investigation, which seeks to uncover alleged inflated capital gains and salary manoeuvres by the Turin club. Around 200 civil claims have been filed, with the next hearing scheduled for 27 January. Among the ten individuals under investigation are former president Andrea Agnelli and ex-executives Pavel Nedved, Maurizio Arrivabene, and Fabio Paratici.
On the Pitch and in the Market
On the pitch, Thiago Motta has reasons to smile, as Dusan Vlahovic is set to return and will be available for Juventus’ clash against Bologna. Meanwhile, defender Federico Gatti is close to signing a contract extension until 2030, and sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is pushing to finalise the permanent signing of Francisco Conceição.
